Downloaded zip files don't show up in my Downloads folder

When downloading zip file it doesn't show up at downloads in my finder. Even extracting the zip file isn't working, it gives error code. I have space enough.

Are you having this issue only with zip files or other types of files as well?

Have you tried to download them using a different browser, to see if that helps?
