Hi, I have decided I will try out the Signature feature. I wanted to upload a scan of my signature to be used. Unfortunatelly, the app does not remove white background. On the top of that, it even adds white background to a png with transparent background (yes, I invested extra effort in removing the white background with other app). At the end of the day, I have an excel sheet with blue background that I cannot sign with dropbox signature feature as it would leave white box around the signature. For example Adobe Reader automatically removes white background from uploaded scanned images of signatures. Is there a solution I am not seeing? Thanks, Josef1.7KViews5likes6CommentsWelcome to the Sign API Developer Community

Dropbox has the potential to make a huge leap forward not by inventing something radically new, but by strengthening and bundling the tools it already has. Here’s what could truly make the difference for many professionals and businesses: Reintroduce and expand Dropbox Capture. Today, video and screen recording is a daily need for teams, customer support, and remote collaboration. This tool should not disappear, it should be stronger. Enhance and integrate e-signature features. Make them more seamless, reliable, and part of the core Dropbox experience. For the Italian market, enabling authentication with the CIE (Electronic Identity Card) would make the application a must-have and extremely interesting. Boost DocSend, review its interface and make it more user-friendly. The tool is powerful, but its full potential emerges only when it’s intuitive to use and included in an accessible bundle. Significantly increase file sync capacity. Many users complain about the ~500,000 files (or performance decline oltre i ~300.000 file sincronizzati sul computer) limit in Dropbox’s desktop app The winning move would be to create a unified, accessible bundle that combines these tools at a fair price. This would bring clear, tangible value to users and set Dropbox apart from competitors in a meaningful way. Sometimes innovation is not about the next big thing. It’s about making what you already have indispensable.129Views3likes2CommentsIssue with resizing text/signature boxes on the Signatures page
Is anyone else having issues resizing boxes on a document that you are trying to send for signature? I can move the boxes around the document but can no longer resize them to fit in a particular area. I tried two different browsers, etc... Its like the ability to resize just disappeared.Solved1.4KViews3likes44CommentsDelete docs in signatures
This idea included below was discarded by your team for lack of activity. However, I did see that my idea received 2 positive votes by other customers. I can certainly understand shelving the idea because you have bigger fish to fry. But to discard it outright makes no sense to me. This is not an idea so much as it is an observation of an obvious oversight. Not being able to delete docs that you no longer wish to store on a data storage platform that charges for data storage is a glitch that needs to be fixed. Please reconsider this "idea." Thanks. ============================ When I have completed an e-signature process on a doc and have saved the signed doc elsewhere, I would like to be able to delete that doc from the signatures section of the platform. At present, I am not able to do that. I use that section of the platform to manage my doc signature process and be able to instantly see which docs are in process. Once the doc has been signed, I no longer want to see that doc in that section. It gets cluttered. Plus, the platform charges for data storage. So the idea that I can't delete docs that I no longer wish to store lacks a certain aesthetic to the platform experience overall.176Views2likes5CommentsPossible scam email sent directly from noreply@mail.hellosign.com
Hello! This morning I received a strange email from noreply@mail.hellosign.com and it was for a signature for a subscription for Geek $quad(?). It's $399 USD and I have no idea what this service would be for. I Googled the "customer support team" phone number and it came back as potentially being for an escort service in Florida. I checked my bank accounts, Paypal and Venmo, and don't see any pending charges. The signature request is also from an email and name I do not recognize and it appears they're a student at an Italian university(their email may have been hacked I'm guessing). So yeah, definitely not convinced this is a legit charge, but I can't lose $399 dollars either, so I guess I'm trying to see if this legit, or just spam. The fact that it was sent from a legitimate Dropbox email gives me pause. No, I did not click the links, but when I hover my cursor over the links in Chrome, I can see the URLs are for official Dropbox services. I called Geek Squad, just to confirm that there is no account in my name. I'm not sure if there's a specific way to contact Dropbox directly about this, or if this is the appropriate method. Thanks to anyone for offering help! [Removed as per Community Guidelines]Solved10KViews2likes13CommentsDelete docs in Signatures

Node: 18.17.1 @dropbox/sign: 1.1.3 Hi, when I try to use the sdk I get the following error: - error ./node_modules/@dropbox/sign/dist/api.js Module not found: Can't resolve './aes' The error comes from this simple piece of code: import * as DropboxSign from '@dropbox/sign'; const signatureRequestApi = new DropboxSign.SignatureRequestApi(); Would be very greatful for any help on this. Best, S2.8KViews2likes10CommentsSigners should be able to cancel pending signature requests (even the ones sent by template links).
Dear DropBox Community, Would it be nice to be able to decline/cancel signature requests, even if the sender sent them via a template link? No more needing to contact people who you don't want to contact who sent documents that you don't want to sign. For context, I tried to cancel/decline 3 documents that are pending my signature because I do not want to sign them and I do not want to contact the signer. When I contacted the DocuSign help team and sent screenshots, they told me that the senders cancelled their accounts and that I cannot decline the documents because they were initiated via a template link. Let's get them to fix this ASAP! I included the message from customer support below. Kind regards, Vasco You don't have the ability to decline because it was initiated via a template link. For template link requests the option to decline the request is unfortunately not available to the recipient. This is expected behaviour, as template link requests are designed differently from standard or bulk send requests. Because of this setup, only the sender has the ability to cancel the request—they control the workflow since the document is generated directly from a link rather than being individually addressed. Our documentation for decline options is only for non template link requests. If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reply to this email.94Views1like3Comments
