90 TopicsHEIC File Format not accepted for uploads to Dropbox Sign
I’m very aware you don’t support HEIC file types and we are VERY surprised you don’t as ALL iPhones take pictures with that format now - by default. So, when we send someone a DropBoxSign document that requires them to take a picture of their ID and attach that to the document it rejects their image. Most people don’t have capability to change a photo they take on their phone from HEIC to PDF format. Most people don’t know how technically. So, my question is WHEN will you be adding the HEIC as a support file type to upload? Your system is outdated by not allowing this new file type to be used and forcing people to use PDF or older non efficient formats like .jpeg. When will you get up to date with your system? We won’t be able to continue to use your system if you don’t update it to allow HEIC files as its causing too much stress for our teams when we send out documents that ALL require them to take a picture of their ID using their phone.58Views0likes1CommentDropbox Sign emails not being sent
And once again! I'm trying to send docs for esign but ONLY the cc emails are sent but NOT to the actual signers! After looking at community forum since that is the ONLY thing available shows that this exact same issue has been a problem for more than 3 years and still they do NOTHING to fix it! HIGH triple digits in price for the plan for our business and THIS is what I have to resort to for community help since Dropbox customer service refuses to make themselves available until NINE in the morning! WHY ARE MY EMAILS NOT GETTING SENT TO MY SIGNERS?! Any Jane or John Does to help answer this since Dropbox needs their beauty sleep? I have a deadline and need to figure out how to get my emails to send properly. boss has looked all over his email account and the address is 100% correct. Cannot believe they charge so much for a service they refuse to fix or make themselves properly available to HELP fix and forcing me to chat with other users instead of a dropbox employee! This is flat-out ridiculous and a total rip off.60Views0likes3CommentsRequesting Attachments - How to remove watermark?
Hello, We recently discovered the added ability to request attachments when sending documents for signature. I just received back the first of these and saw that the attachments are covered in a watermark that says "Only valid for [title of document]. It is invalid for any other usage." The attachments were official documents and I am unsure whether they will be invalidated due to the watermark, so I would like to know if there's a way to make it so the watermark doesn't get added to the attachments when they're submitted.Solved47Views0likes3CommentsSigners should be able to cancel pending signature requests (even the ones sent by template links).
Dear DropBox Community, Would it be nice to be able to decline/cancel signature requests, even if the sender sent them via a template link? No more needing to contact people who you don't want to contact who sent documents that you don't want to sign. For context, I tried to cancel/decline 3 documents that are pending my signature because I do not want to sign them and I do not want to contact the signer. When I contacted the DocuSign help team and sent screenshots, they told me that the senders cancelled their accounts and that I cannot decline the documents because they were initiated via a template link. Let's get them to fix this ASAP! I included the message from customer support below. Kind regards, Vasco You don't have the ability to decline because it was initiated via a template link. For template link requests the option to decline the request is unfortunately not available to the recipient. This is expected behaviour, as template link requests are designed differently from standard or bulk send requests. Because of this setup, only the sender has the ability to cancel the request—they control the workflow since the document is generated directly from a link rather than being individually addressed. Our documentation for decline options is only for non template link requests. If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reply to this email.102Views1like3CommentsI deleted a pending signature document in Dropbox Sign and I want to recover it

I upload contracts to a dbox folder, then click send for signature. After it sends I land on the Dbox docu sign site. When I try to go back to my regular dbox site, I'm logged out (even though I click remember me on the login page). I go to log back in and get an error saying there is a problem to check the status site. I have to go to my history and find a recent link to a folder to get back into my dbox. Sometimes I have to send multiple contracts a day and this is just gets annoying. What can I do to stop this form happening? I use the most recent firefox web browser to do this. on a dell inspiron 1659Views0likes2CommentsEnhancement: Include Form Names in Signature Audit via API
urrently, the Signature Audit data available through the API includes file names associated with signed documents. While this provides basic traceability, it can be difficult for users to easily identify which form each file name corresponds to—especially when multiple forms share similar naming conventions or when file names are system-generated. To improve usability and transparency, it would be beneficial for the API response to include the form names alongside or in place of the file names. Proposed Enhancement: Update the Signature Audit API response to include the form name for each document or file entry. Maintain the existing file name field for backward compatibility, but add a new attribute such as formName or form_display_name. Ensure the form name corresponds to the display name as configured in the form settings within the system.48Views0likes1Comment
