470 TopicsMy entire Dropbox account has been deleted after sharing with another user.
I joined another Dropbox account for a project, and unshared after the project was over. This appeared to just permissions system, but now all my files and folders have been deleted. After looking at my payments, it appears my last monthly payment was refunded. I'm not sure what the hell happened, but it appears my whole account was erased and I'm losing my mind on how this could have happened. Did I transfer my account over to a different user? For everyone using Dropbox, you should be concerned about the security issues that Dropbox is knowingly having. Strangers having access to your folders and files. Strangers getting invitations to share your folders and files. Losing your login access and ownership of your folders and files. And perhaps worse of all, Dropbox Support not giving a f***. It's been 8 weeks since this happened. An entire history of files and folders for a non-profit that works with seniors who suffer from Alzheimers and other forms of dementia. After pushing us off so they could figure out what was going on, then getting back to us saying they don't have a solution, but the advanced technical team is working on it, they are now ghosting the issue. Not responding to any more contact for status on the problem. This was a paid team account for many employees for a full year. Dropbox can't even be contacted for a refund. They don't give a f*** about the security situation. They'll probably wipe this call for help. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? How in the hell are you supposed to reach support if you need to have a Dropbox account in order to open a ticket? An account that you paid a year in advance to have for an entire team. Not to mention we have files that contain the history of the company sitting out there inaccessible. Hallo, whenever I opena folder or a file on Dropbox from File Explorer, it always takes a lot of time, about one minute. If I do the same form an app, example open a file fron Word or Excel, both folders and files open quickly. This appens on my office PC only. From iPad, iPhone or home PC it works normally. I still tried to uninstall and reinstalla Dropbox, but nothing changes. Some suggestion, please? Than You. Recently I went back to Dropbox having read that it now works with Snapdragon Windows versions, but currently I have a significant issue. I cannot have any online-only file in my SP11, thus I cannot have all Dropbox files in my device. I have this in the main DP screen: Then I go to "Manage hard disk space", select folders and make online-only. In less than a second I get the message they are online-only, but they aren't. I recently downgraded my team account to a free account. I chatted with customer service and they assured me all my files would remain. Now I've downgraded and most of my files are gone. I can't access customer support anymore as I only have a free account. Does anyone know how to contact them? Hello, is there a way to play music files from Dropbox (via cell phone and WLAN)? I can only play one file at a time, but not an entire album. There is the Musicbox app, but it doesn't seem to work properly. Only a few pieces of music from an album or folder are synchronized to the cell phone. Thank you!22Views0likes1Comment
