Hello, everyone, Google has recommended that I shorten my email address from googlemail.com to gmail.com without any changes. For all other sites where I have logged in with my gmail it works fine. But dropbox has created a new account for me and I don't have access to my client's data anymore. When I try to login with googlemail.com, I am redirected to the new account with gmail.com. I'm just confused why a new account is created for me. Is there a way I can get access to the old account again?Solved17KViews1like2CommentsMy Dropbox account was deleted due to inactivity, can I get back my referral space?
Hi, My account was deleted as I was inactive for over a year, and I understand that but is it possible if I can get back the space I earned through referrals to friends previously and yes, I registered with the same email address?Solved14KViews1like32CommentsAccount ownership transfer
Hi community, I need your help as Dropbox support completely stopped answering me: I work for an association which has a Dropbox account with paid subscription. The account has been set up by a former employee using her own email address. She then left the company and we do not have access to our own Dropbox folder because the former employee has the credentials. We can prove that the association is the owner of the Dropbox account thanks to our credit card which is used to pay for the subscription. Do you know who I can contact to make the change and replace this former employee's email address by the association's email address and reset the password in order to regain access to the account? Thanks a lot in advance for your help!Solved12KViews0likes10CommentsSpam emails from Dropbox
So I received these 3 emails today seemingly from Dropbox - must be spam as when I clicked on them it took me to a site looking like Dropbox asking me to sign in with my Yahoo or Google Or AOL account etc., and the URL was: [link removed for security reasons] Can't seem to attach screen shots? Anyone else experienced this? ClareSolved11KViews0likes5CommentsI can't reset my password as I have no access to the email

Tried to log in on one computer when I received notification that my password expired. Was still logged into my account on another computer. Tried to change the password and it wouldn't take. I can't access my email address linked with Dropbox, because it no longer exists. Which happened at the same time Dropbox expired my password. Created a new account and was transferring files over when my computer rebooted and logged me out. Have tried every option, including contacting support (Ticket #12385790) in which I was told to log into my account to see what my support options were. WHAT THE HECK? How am I supposed to do that when I am locked out. Someone obviously didn't read my issue. I use Dropbox for the cloud feature and to store important documents, etc. I am hopeful that someway, somehow, someone can help me. I know my old password and can provide detailed answers to any questions. Please help. Thank you.Solved7KViews1like35Comments
