"Camera Uploads is disabled by your admin" error on iOS
So... i think there is something wrong with my dropbox ios app. It worked fine until about 2 hours ago. I have alread logged out, install/uninstall, power cycle the phone, everything level 1 helpdesk has been done. Yes, i have space, the account is working fine from the notebook. For example the screenshot upload from windows is fine. Both dropbox app and ios are the latest version. I'm not part of a team, never have been.
New files from camera uploads not showing in the Photos tab in iOS 26 (17promax)
Device iPhone 17 pro max Operating System/Browser (if using the web) iOS 26 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 444.2.2 Question or Issue Moving to a new iPhone and installed dropbox app. However, camera uploads is very buggy. It will upload the photos/videos, but the display will not show any new photos added. New items can be found in camera upload folder, but not in the "Photos" tab on the app as it will not fresh that at all. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling and sometimes get the error message that the camera uploads folder doesn't exist and will be created on next upload. But the folder is there and new images are added.The "background app refresh" setting for the Dropbox iOS app is greyed out
I am trying to upload video from my iPhone automatically and in the background. I want this to happen on cell data or WiFi and whether or not the app is open. The setting "Background App Refresh" is greyed out and cannot be turned on. It would be nice if I could put them in a folder to which they would not be deleted if deleted from my phone.
Can I upload whole albums and preserve the names?
Hi! I recently switched to iPhone and was unable to transfer photos from my Android to my new phone, hence why Iâm here. I need a good place to store all my photos so that they are easily accessible on all devices. I have my photos VERY organized on my Android and was wondering if I could transfer them to Dropbox and KEEP THEM IN THE ALBUMS they are currently in⊠It seems they are simply coming over one by one out of the albums. This is extremely frustrating. Especially because Iâm dealing with iPhones idiotic idea of phone storage (you move a photo to an album and it STAYS in the camera roll!! It just becomes a copy-I donât want it in 2 places. I need it organized and in ONE. AnywayâŠ) Any way to do this?
