How to Safely Manage Photos Between Dropbox and iPhone?
Hi everyone, I use Dropbox to back up and organize my photos, but I’m having some trouble managing them with my iPhone Photos app. I recently noticed that when I delete a photo from Dropbox, it also gets deleted from my iPhone Photos app, which I didn’t expect. Here are my questions: How can I delete photos from Dropbox without affecting the photos saved on my iPhone? Is there a way to stop Dropbox from syncing deletions with my iPhone? Can I keep using Dropbox as a backup while ensuring my iPhone photos remain safe and unaffected? Apps in my iPhone say my Dropbox is empty when I try to attach files
Hello! Whenever I try to attach a file saved in Dropbox from an app (for instance, WhatsApp message, or Mail app) in my iPhone (iOS 18.1), the app says my Dropbox is empty, although it is fully synced in my phone. Interestingly, from the Messages app I'm able to attach a file and if I open the Dropbox app and select to export a file to WhatsApp or Mail, it works. I've tried disabling and enabling Dropbox from the Browse option, clearing history and website data and restarting the phone, and nothing worked. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Can we upload live photos through Camera Uploads?
I can see lots of posts asking for support for Live Photos. I feel quite cheated that I have lost the ability to see these photos. As someone else has also posted, I have little snippets of my mother’s voice and movement that I have lost forever and she has passed away. Dropbox offer a photo sync service which means they need to solve for Live Photos, they have been around since 2015 so it’s not a new function. Please prioritise a solution to upload and then restore Live Photos.
I'm not seeing my updates when opening Dropbox Passwords on my mobile/Firefox browser.
I use Dropbox Passwords, mainly on my computer (with Safari). I have installed the app on my phone and connected it some months ago but use it rarely. I noticed that the last changes made were not synchronized on the mobile ap. After trying different solution I uninstalled the app on my phone and reinstalled it. I can't understand, it is still the same: the last changes I made do not appear. I installed it on another brother (Firefox) and the problem is the same. The changes made on August 2024 (and latter) do not appear.

Unable to open Excel files on Android Dropbox mobile app - Office login loop
Hi, I have a free dropbox account and have used it for years to store a few basic excel spreadsheets that I use daily. I have a paid Microsoft 365 account that I use on my android phone and lenovo laptop. For some reason the last few days, I am unable to open my dropbox excel spreadsheets on my phone. When I try to open the spreadsheet I get a log in page saying "Log in or sign up to Dropbox to link with Microsoft Office Integration". I log in using my dropbox user and pw and it just sends me to my onedrive. I have tried deleting the dropbox and 365 apps on my phone and re installing and logging in. I have tried to open the dropbox files by going into excel first and then trying to open the dropbox spreadsheet. Just always sends me to the log in page. It all works fine on my laptop, and after saving, my dropbox android app shows the newly updated spreadsheet. Dont know what has happened. Please help.
