Hey Jjph, thanks for letting us know about this.
If you open the Dropbox app and tap on 'account', then on the gear icon and then on 'clear cache', does it help?
If not, please send us a screenshot of the pop-up; just make sure to edit out any personal info.
Thanks in advance!

It doesn’t help, even uninstalling and installing doesn’t help, both in my iphone and my ipad. My PC doesn’t have that issue.
The message is more or less:
“FILE SHARED WITH YOU
John has invited you to see the file Category 5 Title 2.doc
Not now / Open”
John Doe is a friend of mine

Hey Jjph, can you clarify the app's version and OS at the moment?
Also, if you access this page, are you able to find the file there?
- Jjph3 years agoExplorer | Level 3
I have the latest version both in iOS and the app, but it’s been happening with previous versions too.
I followed the link but I see no file

- Tigercomp3 years agoExplorer | Level 4I have been under this spamming message from many months. Person who share this file with me deleted Dropbox account- message still popping on my account. I have nothing in shared file links. Still I get this screen.

Hey Tigercomp, sorry to hear about this.
Are you on an iOS or Android device? Have you cleared the app's cache, to see if that helps?
- Tigercomp3 years agoExplorer | Level 4On iOS - just after clearing cache I got the same pop up:) App reinstall don’t work.
- Jjph3 years agoExplorer | Level 3Your case is exactly the same as mine. Support team has been very kind and forwarded the case to engineers but nothing’s been solved and I stopped receiving feedback from them

Hey Jjph, would you mind sharing the ticket number for your communication with our support team, so we can check it out?
And Tigercomp, it might sound trivial, but if you haven't already, can you also restart your device?
- Tigercomp3 years agoExplorer | Level 4
I have this message on all iOS devices, restart don't help.

Hi Tigercomp, could you send us a screenshot of the pop-up message you keep receiving?
Just make sure none of your personal info is visible there. Thanks!

Hey there Tigercomp, sorry to jump In here, but could you clarify your device's exact OS version and the version of the Dropbox mobile app installed there as well?
Also, did you log out and back in again after clearing the app's cache?
- Tigercomp3 years agoExplorer | Level 4iOS 17.0.2, Dropbox 348.2.4, yes - I have logged again after clearing cache.

One more thing here Tigercomp, do you see the same notification or shared content on the website as well if you check through a web browser?
- Tigercomp3 years agoExplorer | Level 4No, I get this annoying message pop- up only in mobile apps.
