Shared link won't go away
In the app for Iphone I keep receiving a message that someone has shared a link with me to a file. I dismiss the message but it comes back next time I open the app. I also keeps coming back if I view...

Hi Jay,
There is nothing in either of those.
However, the popup message no longer appears on either my phone or my wife's! I have not changed anything but the result is good!
I guess our phones were scared because I started talking to you - you rock!

Everytine i open ios app it shows a message that someone i know is sharing a file with me. I usually cancel the medsage but in some occasions ive accepted out of despair. Itâs been happening for months. My friend tells me he didnt share anything with me, but i cant male the popup message to disappear. In pc there is no medsage

If you open the Dropbox app and tap on 'account', then on the gear icon and then on 'clear cache', does it help?
If not, please send us a screenshot of the pop-up; just make sure to edit out any personal info.

It doesnât help, even uninstalling and installing doesnât help, both in my iphone and my ipad. My PC doesnât have that issue.
The message is more or less:
âFILE SHARED WITH YOU
John has invited you to see the file Category 5 Title 2.doc
Not now / Openâ
John Doe is a friend of mine

I have the latest version both in iOS and the app, but itâs been happening with previous versions too.
I followed the link but I see no file
