Android app, opening videos doesn't work correctly
I can't watch videos on- or off-line in the Dropbox app for Android. I think this bug/series of bugs started when I updated to Android 12 in October/November of last year. I've just been hoping the b...

A ticket was opened for these issues and marked as solved, yet the issues were never solved. See the email here. The video I have uploaded to Dropbox, see it here: [Removed as per Community Guidelines]

Can someone please explain how my video violated the community guidelines? It was literally just a plastic space shuttle toy and a car.

Did Customer Service help you with this issue? I'm having the same problem with my videos being overlapped by thumbnails from another video. I have a Samsung Galaxy 21 plus. Dropbox app version 312.2.2. Cleared the cache. Just wondering if you ever got an answer. Thank you!
- Gg933 years agoHelpful | Level 6Not really. They told me it was a known issue for Androids, and that I could become a Beta tester for the updated version they're working on which might fix the problem. Then they marked my issue as "resolved." I told them that I'm not comfortable being a Beta tester, since you then have to agree to allow them to collect data on your usage and I value my online privacy, and that my issue is NOT RESOLVED. They feel that when the new update is released, it will start to work again 😒

That is not cool. It should work on Androids too. Wonder when the new version will be out. I am going to search for another app to share videos. *sigh*
