Blurred PDF Files
Can anyone help. I have transferred files into dropbox some of which can be previewed but others appear as if they have a blue film over the entirety of the file and others are just blurred.
Not sure why this is happening but I need to sort it out asap.
Can anyone help please.
Many thanks Julia

Hey JuliaH1, thanks for reaching out to us here!
Just to make sure we're on the same page, can you let me know where you're previewing the files from? Eg. the website, desktop app or mobile app.
Also, if you download the file from Dropbox and use a local app to open the file, does it appear normal there?

Hi Daphne,
I'm viewing on the website. Some files are fine but others have a blue film or are blurred and yet they were created in the same way.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Julia

Thanks for getting back to me here JuliaH1!
If you use an incognito/private browsing window, do you see any difference in the preview then?
Otherwise, how about when using another web browser altogether? - JuliaH15 years agoExplorer | Level 3
HI Daphne,
I downloaded the app and its fine now. Thanks so much for your help. Julia

For several months, when scanning a particular monthly receipt, a specific page of the receipt, whether scanned indidually or as part of a batch is so blurry as to be unreadable. The page has typing at the top and bottom of the sheet, but nothing in the centre, so may be a focussing problem, but there is no way to select part of the page as the focussing point. I've tried the various suggestions on the forum (reinstall, clearing cache, reboot, etc.) without success. Phone - OnePlus 8T (KB2003); OS - Andriod OxygenOS 11.0.11.11.KB05AA; App Version 258.2.2

Hey kevin m, thanks for posting to our Community!
Do you preview the files from the mobile app or website?
Let me know if you notice that they're no longer blurry after a download.
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there! - kevin m5 years agoExplorer | Level 3Hi Megan
I preview the file on the mobile app, and then save as PDF. Both are blurred on my mobile and also the scanned image on my PC.
Thanks

Hey kevin m, thanks for the fast reply!
Feel free to send me a screenshot (of course, any personal info should be omitted) of what you see on your end, so I can have a better visual.
Thanks! - kevin m4 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Hi Megan
Sorry for the delay in replying - Xmas got in the way! Looks like this might be an auto-focussing issue on a nearly blank page - I've just scanned only the 2nd page, which has very little text at the top and mid way down, and it still comes out blurry. Is it possible to select an area to focus on, like you can when taking photos?
Thanks
Kevin
