Can I transfer files keeping date and time stamps in tact from one account to another?
I have a large amount of data that I am holding in my Dropbox account (1.2TB) for legal purposes as advised by my attorney. The purpose is to show that the files have not been altered and being hoste...
Hi Scott L.20, you can put the files in a folder -if they're not in one already- and then share the folder from account A to account B.
Once you do that, you can go into your old account, and pass the ownership of the folder to the new account. And that should be it.

When you mention time stamps, are you referring to the last time a file was modified, as seen online? If not, feel free to clarify more, so I can grasp the visual.
If so, sharing the folders, and files between accounts, wouldn't change the last time these files were modified, and should remain the same.

- That's correct. I mean last modified date. It doesn't matter when they are viewed because they are encrypted using an encryption key of my own so I don't have to worry about accidental disclosure. But I do need to prove they have not been altered since they were created.
Back to my two accounts idea. How does that work so I can effectively transfer the files preserving their time stamps to a new account and remove them from my current account?- Megan
