Can only view the first page of documents on the Dropbox website

I have a few very long text docs in Dropbox, and I opened one to verify which version it was, but I can only see the first page. I can't scroll and there does not seem to be any "next page" button anywhere. Is this as intended? Because that seems odd. Or am I missing something obvious? I'm on Safari, fully up to date.

Thanks for reaching out to us, AlisonRose.

Are you having this issue with other browsers as well?

Also, if you download the file, to open it locally, do you see the entire file as normal?

Let me know what you find.

I sent the link to a friend, and she could also only see the first page (also in Safari). I downloaded one of the docs and it couldn't be opened in Pages because it said it was "damaged". I don't have any other browsers on this laptop.

Hi AlisonRose, what kind of document are you trying to preview, is it a Pages document, or some other file type?

In general, Pages documents will only show the first page when previewed on the Dropbox site, as per this article.

Yes, it is a Pages doc. (I will note, it is not easy to find whatever info someone is looking for in the help section.) And okay, but then why when I downloaded it did my computer tell me it was "damaged" and couldn't be opened?
