Can't open any files
Can't open any files in Dropbox inc PDF file, word, excel. A window popped up and said' There was an error opening this document. The file cannot be accessed by the system.

Thanks for getting back to me, Miranda-info.
Are the files in your Dropbox folder set to online-only by any chance?
If they are, can you try right-clicking on a file and select it to be local from the Smart Sync option? Are you able to open it then?

From what I understand, you're trying to access these files locally on your computer. Could you clarify for me:
- What you see when you hover over your Dropbox icon that's next to your computer's clock? A screenshot of this (without any personal info) would be very helpful.
- If you're trying to open them from the desktop app or Finder/Windows Explorer?

You are right, local files on my laptop can't be accessed.
The screenshot of Dropbox icon is attached. And I tried to open them from Chrome. (image link is broken, can not be displayed)
