Garbled Audio in mp4
I uploaded a presentation to my video folder. The video on the first slide of the video is garbled. This does not occur on my other platforms: YouTube and iCloud sharing.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hey Reg77, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you please try clearing your browser's cache or using another browser and let us know if this persists?
Thanks!

The problem is with my iPad DropBox app. It’s all good via my browsers.

In that case, you could try clearing the app's cache Reg77
To clear your cache on your iPad, please follow the steps listed below:
1. Navigate to the “Personal” (or Account) tab
2. Tap the gear icon in the upper-left corner of the screen
3. Select “Clear Cache”Once this is done then please ensure you log out of the Dropbox application, then restart your device and log back in again.
Let us know how it goes!

Hi Reg77, sorry to jump in here!
Could you clarify the OS you're using on your iPad, along with the version of the Dropbox app there?
Also, if you try downloading the same exact presentation, and open it locally, do you get the same results?

iPadOS 16.5.1
I deleted Dropbox and reinstalled from the App Store so I assume it’s the most recent.
Download to iPad works fine.

Thanks for keeping me in the loop Reg77
Could you let us know if opening the file via the Files app on your iPad gives the correct audio or not?
- Reg772 years agoExplorer | Level 3
You cannot open Dropbox from the iPad app folder. It only opens files stored on the iPad and iCloud. As I said before, if downloaded to iPad from Dropbox, its fine. It’s also fine if I open Dropbox with a browser. The problem is only opening it in the Dropbox App on all my devices.

Would it be OK if we reached out via email to have a further look internally at this point Reg77?
