How to know if/when a file has been downloaded?
If I create a link to one of my files, and I give that link to a friend, then he can download it.
Is there a way for me to know if or when ANYBODY ever downloads that file?

Currently, it isn't possible to know if a person downloaded a file via a shared link.
However, using Dropbox Transfer would allow you to know if the file has been downloaded.

Well, Thanks, Jay, for the reply, even though it's not what I wanted to hear.
I would need to Pay for a "Professional" acct to get that Transfer option.
AND the MAX expiration date could be for Only ONE Year.
Darn.
