I can't download files on the Android mobile app

I'm able to download from the web version, but starting this morning (June 24, 2025) I can not download from the mobile app.    I can upload and do everything else from my phone (Samsung S24 Ultr...

Hi Mikeylectro, bennymac, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you first try clearing the cache, and then uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and re-installing it to see if this helps?

Keep me updated with any progress!

    I'm on basic with 3 devices. I did it anyways and it's still not working.

    Hey Jay, 

    Thank you for your response. I cleared cache, uninstalled app, restarted phone, then reinstalled app. Same issue. I recently got a new phone, but deleted my other device. It was working yesterday (on new phone) with out issue.

      Could you clarify what you're trying to do when downloading files? 

      Are you trying to export the files to another app or to the file system on your phone, or something else?
