iOS 15 couldn’t save content error message
Upgraded iPhone to iOS 15 and now when I try to save a pdf in Safari using the Save to Dropbox or Dropbox link both error with Couldn’t save content, check your internet connection. The only way to export to Dropbox is to use the Save to Files and then upload pdf to Dropbox. I hope Dropbox will fix this issue ASAP

Hi Walter,
Also I have the same problem. After the iOS 15 update, it is not possible anymore to save a PDF from Safari to Dropbox. Both the “Save to dropbox” and the sharing option give the error message as mentioned. Is there a solution yet? Thanks. Kind regards, Hans

I’ve had the same issue ever since 15 was downloaded — before 15.1 at least I could say print — then preview and save to Dropbox — now that isn’t even working.

Hey Hans14 & cb61 - thanks for your nudges here.
Would it be OK if I reached out via email to investigate further? - cb615 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Yes — I have found that it is only happening within the Safari and Chrome Browsers. I downloaded Firefox and that is working to save directly to Dropbox, so not sure if that helps or not.

Hi Walter, YES, of course we can use email to investigate this further. I prefer however not to include my emailaddress in this conversation. Could I send it to you directly? Thx

FYI. I still have to use my workaround of downloading to Files app and then uploading to Dropbox on many websites that I'm trying to download pdf statements from. I still have error using Sarfari, Chrome, or Firefox on iOS devices (phone/ipad). Seems issue is becoming more common, unfortunately.
