My .psb thumbnails don't work for macOS.
Hello,
One of the reasons I use Dropbox is that as a graphic designer I need to store files on the cloud. I also like to use macOS for better optimization with my workflow, however I am now thinking two things:
1) either I switch back to Windows since the Dropbox integration is much smoother in my experience
2) switch to another cloud service
Let me know if there are any updates for better Dropbox integration with macOS, including being able to see thumbnails of online-only files, including .psb files (Photoshop large files).
Cheers

Hey majko123, welcome to our Community1
In regards to the thumbnails on your macOS, are you able to see them when switching the files from online-only to available offline? I'm guessing you have no issues when trying to open the files, right?
Also, do you notice the same behavior when using your Windows device?
Lastly, I'd love to gather some more info in reference to the last thing you mentioned about a "better Dropbox integration with your macOS". Are you talking about the online-only feature, or something else too?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there.

Hello Megan,
yes, of course, when I switch the files from online-only to available offline (essentially, when I download the files) I can see the thumbnails, including .psb. The problem seems to be in the integration with Dropbox.
I have been using the online Dropbox interface to view my files, as I am able to see .psd files' thumbnails, however, even here I cannot see the thumbnails of .psb files, which is essential for me as a graphic designer, since most of my files, personally, are .psb.
When using my previous Windows device, I actually used Adobe Bridge to view all of the online-only Dropbox files with no problems. On Mac in Bridge I cannot see any online-only thumbnails, I don't know why.
In regards to the issue of "better Dropbox integration with your macOS", yes, I am purely referring to online-only thumbnails (even seeing .psd thumbnails would be nice), since the reason I am using Dropbox is the ability to have a large library of online-only files, which I download only when needed.
Thank you for helping me out,
I appreciate it. - Hannah4 months ago
