Starred Files not showing up on Home Page
I have many starred files however when I go to my home page and click on "starred" non of the files populate.

Thank you so much for your persistence. It worked!
I copied it to the root. Starred the copy. It then appeared in the "Starred" folder.
I deleted the original. Then I moved the root version back to its original folder location (preserving the starred status)...and wow it appears in the Starred folder. Much appreciated.

Thank you for the reply. I tried it with Edge, but to no avail.
Is it possible this xlsx file has some setting that prevents it from being displayed? I was just able to add another folder to the "Starred" section, so it is working...just not for my file.

1 year agoIs this xlsx file in a private or shared folder?
Could you attach a screenshot showing that the file has a star on it in Chrome?

Sure. Thank you for your perseverance.

Is it only occurring for this file, since you mentioned a folder works?

Yes. Just this file. Starred works for other files and folders. It is most unusual.

Could you test this by copying and pasting the file into the root Dropbox folder, and try starring that copy?

Thank you for your continued efforts. I moved the xlsx file into the root directory, unstarred and then re-starred the file. Logged out and then logged back in. Confirmed the root xlsx file was starred. Then clicked on "Starred" icon, but it did not appear there (whereas other file and folders were still in the starred folder.

Instead of moving the file itself, does a copy of the file experience the same issue?
Does the file have a password, or any other special permissions on it?
