Synced files won't open, as they have a small brown box next to them.
Hello, i have an issue that has developed on one of my Dropbox-synced computers.
this issue only affects one of three computers i have synced to my Dropbox account.

Dropbox says "up to date".
i do use One Drive. at least it's on my computer.
i'm going to look into the OneDrive settings...

4 years agoHi boonwd, could you try disabling or quitting OneDrive temporarily to see if this shows the correct sync icons?

hello,
i tried disconnecting from OneDrive but nothing changed.
i wonder if i completely remove all traces of Dropbox from my computer and start over might that help?
like i mentioned earlier, i have two other win11 PCs in the same room with no issues at all.
and my current issue with this PC only began relatively recently, perhaps when i was bring up one of the other new machines.

Can you send me a full screenshot of what you see when you right click on a file or folder, inside Dropbox?

bit tricky capturing the right click. the middle screen is the Dropbox folder/file right-clicked.
