"waiting for bolt.dropbox.com" message and I cannot download my photos to use?
I keep getting a message when I try to download any of the photos off of my shared dropbox folder. Why? How do I fix it? I need to download some of those photos pretty quickly and am so frustrated. I am on a Macbook Pro and am using Chrome for my internet connection. Please be specific with any suggestions on what I can do?

Hi Walter,
this is my professional laptop. So I expect they are running firewalls and antivirus.
I cannot use another browser as there is only Edge installed on my laptop.
I can send you a screenshot but it will not show a lot. When I ask for a download, i can briefly see the above message in the bottom left corner and nothing happen.

Hi YoshiDBZ, as this sounds like a company-managed device, I'd recommend checking with your IT department to see if any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains.

Same problem here. Why is such a basic task so difficult? DropBox is meant to be this great sharing website. Load of sh*t if you ask me. Please try to get it sorted. Cheers.

Hi there,
IT will not change their setup for dropbox and if I ask them they will tell me to use One Drive, so I will not ask anything to them.
Now I don't get it, this should not be difficult to download documents from Dropbox and it was working in the past.
So please solve it quickly before I really move to OneDrive.
Cheers

Hey sheri9801 - could you clear your browser's cache and let us know if you still get the same results?
If so, I'd appreciate a screenshot so that we can have a visual too.

Same issue. I do not have a screenshot because it doesn't do anything. I get a small pop up that says "waiting for bolt.dropbox.com" then it goes away in about a second and nothing happens.

And are you taking a specific action when you get this error sheri9801?
If you can't get a screenshot of the error, you can send us one of the last screen you can get to.

I was able to catch the pop up message at the bottom. Nothing happens ...
