Being asked for owner permission to delete my own files
Nothing like typing the same thing twice.
Ok, second try: I am trying to delete a bunch of extraneous stuff. It won't let me, tells me to ask the owner for permission.
I am the owner. ...

I keep getting a message that says ask the owner to help delete these files. This is for a giant reunion. It is my drop box and I am the only one who can manage the files. It's over 600 people who will be uploading photos. I can't ask these people to help me delete them. I don't know half of them and don't have contact with them directly. I want to get these deleted files out of my delete folder. Can someone help me with this? I think it's a bug Dropbox needs to fix. I am the only one allowed in my dropbox.

Are you the owner of the folder that these files are in?
You can check that, by clicking on the share icon and then on "who can access".

Hi,
I have the same issue here.
Attached is an screenshot of the error:
I am the owner.
I have the same issue with 40 other files (all photos).
Thank you!

What happens if you click on that photo and look at the Previous Version history?
Who was the initial person who uploaded it?

I did upload all those photos. All are now in the "deleted files" folder but I cannot permanently delete them. When I click on the photo from that folder, the only option I get is "restore" it which I don't want.
