File recovery after Sync, files missing
Dear Community, I urgently need help recovering my files. I wanted to sync Dropbox on my two devices iPhone and MacBook, as the App in iPhone only showed a small number of files. (majority of files on my MacBook). After sync, all files on MacBook are lost.... How can I recover them?
thank you so much for any hint
Hi AEK1, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Can you find any of the missing files in the events page or the deleted files page to recover them?
Keep me updated with any progress!

Neetubajpai12 you can restore from there, but, only if its showing within your recovery window. For example if you are a free user you have 30 days to do so. If its over 30 days they will show on that page but be unrecoverable.

My PC has lost access to all my files. I get a list of suggested folders instead of the folders I have had for years. I did a cache clearing just before this problem started. I tried following synch-your-files instructions but had no success. All my actual content appears on my tablet, but not the desktop. Since I put files on Dropbox from my tablet to transfer to my PC and vice versa, I am completely screwed. Can anyone figure this out? My browser, through which I get to Dropbox, is Google Chrome.

Hey there, karlpov, let's jump right into this!
If you visit your account online, are you able to see your content there?
Also, can you let me know the app's syncing status, and the version that you're using on the computer, so we can identify if the app is up to date?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there.
