How can I find what files I've stored on my Dropbox account to delete them and free up space?
Question or Issue
Hi
I have a similar issue to Thingy. I have tried to troubleshoot following all suggestions provided in this suggestion string but cannot even identify what, if anything, I have stored in the Drive. When I access it this is the screen
Can someone please direct me to where I identify what I have in the Drive so I can identify what I can delete to fill up space. Frankly, I cannot recall I actually have anything. Thanks Chezzie
Thanks for posting on our Community today, Chezzie! Welcome aboard.
If you have any files/folders stored on your Dropbox account, they should be visible at your Homepage here (which looks like the page you’re currently at).
Other than that, you can also check your Backups page here, in case you’ve enabled computer/external drive backup and you wish to delete some files from there, as well.
Let me know, if you need any further help.

Hi there Chezzie , and welcome to the Dropbox Community 👋
I'm so glad to hear everything’s sorted out now! Sometimes the simplest solutions like checking through the “All files” view , really do the trick 😊. Thanks for taking the time to follow up, it’s always helpful when someone comes back to share their update.
By the way, I’m Theresa 👩💻, one of the Community Managers here at Dropbox HQ. Now that things are working again, I’d love to know ...how do you usually use Dropbox in your day-to-day? Whether it’s for organising personal files, collaborating on projects, or just backing up your digital life, I always enjoy hearing how people make Dropbox work for them.
Looking forward to hearing more,

Nancy, thanks so much. That's where the files were. A backup of a 500GB Hard Drive. Thank you, I will stop tearing my hair out now!
Kind regards
