How to undo uploading files to Dropbox without deleting them from my computer?
So I didn't realize dropbox was syncing with my computer. Dropbox uploaded all my files and now my Dropbox is full and I didn´t want to have my files uploaded at all. I managed to unsync with my PC ...

Thanks for your swift reply, hedda739.
You don't need to delete the files, since deleting them will remove them from your account.
If the computer files you mention are your Documents, Downloads, and Desktop folders, you need to turn the computer backup feature off first.
Once you do that, then you can move the files back to their original locations, out of your Dropbox folder.

Hi!
Thanks for the help! I checked the link you suggested but I still don´t understand how or if it´s possible to delete uploaded files without also deleting them on my computer. Now I can´t put anymore files in Dropbox because it´s filled up with files I didn´t want to have there in the first place. And I also don´t want the files on my computer to be in any Dropbox folder.
