I signed into my account yesterday, but I'm only see old files, and not newer files?
Hello! I logged into dropbox yesterday, both from my browser and from the desktop app, and all edits or new files and folders from the past few years are missing. I can still see documents and folder...

2 years agoHi solo_here, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are you able to see any files on the events page or the deleted files page?
Are you certain that you're signing into the same account with the same email address as before?
This will help me to assist further!

Thanks for the reply, Jay I've only ever had one Dropbox account, and I am sure it's the same one because I can see most of my files, just not the most recent ones. There is nothing in my deleted files, going back years. I can't find any "events" pages. I do have a free account.
- solo_here2 years agoNew member | Level 2There wasn't anything in the events. Is it possible that docs I saved in the desktop app didn't save to the cloud? That is the only other option I can think of.

Yes, that's highly likely solo_here
Otherwise, you'd be able to find them in your deleted files page and/or the events page would show them being uploaded and/or deleted too.
Do you maybe have access to the original device you used for your edits to see if you can find your missing files there?
