Moving or renaming the file that your shared link points to will not affect the shared link that you generated.
This means that anyone who has access to the shared link will still be able to access the file if you move it to a different location in your Dropbox folder or if you rename the file.

That's what I would think - that the url would contain a unid (unique identifier) for the document that wouldn't change if you moved the document. I'd expect same behavior for moving anything (e.g. a folder). Could you pls point to the proof of this in Dropbox support documentation? Thank you!
