My images don't load on mobile
My images don't load on mobile when I visit my website that uses dropbox direct photo links. The desktop site works fine.
Hi all,
As you may have seen, this issue is now resolved and a fix was rolled out earlier this week ๐

I'm having the same issue. On my iPhone and iPad, image links with the raw=1 extension won't load anymore in the Safari or Chrome browser. On my Desktop Mac, Chrome and Firefox load the images just fine but not Safari. This issue just started today.

Hey there CoveUS & jcp543; thanks for joining our Community and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please let us know if this persists after clearing your browser's cache or other browsers?
Thanks! - CoveUS5 years agoExplorer | Level 4
Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and DuckDuckGo, all do not load the images on mobile. I cleared the cache and browsing history of Chrome still the problem continues.

Yes unfortunately deleting the history and clearing the cache doesnโt make a difference. Iโve tried most of the obvious things I can think of. This is really strange.

Hey CoveUS and jcp543, does this happen with specific photo types, like .jpeg?
If you get any error messages, a screenshot would be super helpful. - jcp5435 years agoHelpful | Level 5The image files are all .jpg and Iโm not getting any error messages. The images are simply not loading. Only the alt text is showing up. You can check for yourself by visiting my my homepage and scrolling all the way down.

hi guys, I have the same problem..everything was working fine until today morning. Im using an app on my TV that is pointing to my xml file in my dropbox account in the public folder. All i had done before was the url?raw=1 to make this work. But today it stopped working. when i copy this to chrome just to test the xml page will open but i see that the url is different, a bunch of letters. What have dropbox done? And why dont we get an info before this change? If i copy that long url to my app it works fine.
But also the icon pictures wont show because of the long url..this is just an exampel(url wont work its just as example).
<logo_30x30>https://www.dropbox.com/s/bcarf88t80k26x9/picture.png?raw=1</logo_30x30>
this url will become like..https://ucf1....dl.dropboxusercontent.com/cd/0/inline/B...file#..and wont show up on my app.
I hope dropbox can fix this..

Hi, my hosted photos in a photography forum worked fine until yesterday. The photos don't show up anymore when I am using Safari. On a pc with IE everything works fine. Other members of the forum reported the same problem since yesterday.
Does anyone have a clue what is going on? Is it a dropbox problem or is it a Safari problem. The same problem happens also in other forums so it does not seem to be associated with the forum platform.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Erik
