Tags not visible in browser/desktop version

Hello, Dropboxers! 🙂

My question is related to tags. For some reason I can only search for tags that have been added in the same Dropbox "version" (browser vs desktop app). So if I add a tag to a file in the desktop app, it will not be found in the Dropbox web version, and the other way around.

Is this really the case or am I doing something very wrong?

    Hi Liene 

    That is how its supposed to work I'm afraid - Dropbox tags only work on the Dropbox website. They do not sync to devices (or from Devices to Dropbox's website)
