Trying to delete my account but it keeps giving me an error
I’ve been trying to delete this account because it’s linked to my Mac and I’m trying to use a different drop box account but it won’t let me sign out on the computer to use the other account so my only other option is to delete this. Which is fine I barely use this one I had to make it for school back when I was in highschool so if someone can help me I would appreciate it
- Retried. It now works. Prompted to reset password to allow the permanaent deletion. Ty for making it happen. I hope u also fixed the submit button for support ticket request. Ty

Hello, when I go to delete my Dropbox account, I am greeted with a (500) error. Any solutions for this? It says there are no known issues on the status page.

Hey Userlasvegas & ggg1234567 - sorry to hear you're having issues with deleting your Dropbox account.
Can you please clear your browser's cache and/or try another browser and let us know if you still get the same error?
If you do, I'd appreciate a screenshot too.
- Dboxlux1 year agoHelpful | Level 5I tried that same thingthis morning. Get a 500 error. Tried to submit a ticket to support. The submit button is de-activated. Tried contacting the sales team. Every option points me back to some deopbox support webpage. Then hangs up on me. I feel my data is being held hostage. First chance I get I would get away from dropbox and go somewhere that has some actual support... even a live chat would be a huge improvement.
