Accessing my files on my computer is slow
I have plenty of storage space on my PC.
I am trying to access my Dropbox files via File Explorer, but it seems that all of my Dropbox files are in the cloud, and that makes it very slow.
Also, my files are always in the process of synching. It's never done synching.
This used to work fine, but it's got lots of problems all of a sudden.

Hi bluespiano, thanks for posting today!
Are the files marked as online-only in Explorer? You can tell this by the sync icon next to the files.
What is the current status of the Dropbox desktop application? You can see this when clicking the icon near the clock in the system tray.
This will help me to assist further!

There is a cloud icon next to most of my files. There is a green checkmark beside some of them.

Hey bluespiano! Sorry for our late reply here!
As a first step, could you let us know the exact OS version of your computer and the version and syncing status of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your taskbar at the moment?
Just to confirm, has the update finished or is it still ongoing, and does the number of files seem to go down?
As for the icons, here is what the blue cloud icon means when you're using the new Windows desktop app for Cloud files. You can always use these steps if you wish to change the status of the files and folders from online-only to available offline.
Keep me posted!
