Allow better control of files shared to you

Files shared to me take up space in my Dropbox.  I cannot delete individual files, just unsubscribe from the folder.  My Dropbox is now completely full of files shared to me.  I do not want to unsubs...

That specific case wouldn't be possible. Inviting someone to a shared folder is a different process from sending them a view-only shared link. The sender needs to decide which sharing method they want to use; shared folder or shared link.
