blank page or 'dead' page on dropbox.com

Hello,

I have a user here who can't access documents that were sent to her. When she tries in IE 11 all she sees is a blank page, when she does it in Chrome all he sees are broken image icons.

Everyone else can access these files without any issues.

I have cleared her temp files and reset the browser settings but she still can't see the files.

She is using a Surface Pro 3 with Windows 8.

Any suggestions would be welcome!

Hi! Quick question up front, is she on the same network as the others (I'm assuming so). But, if not I know that unless the site is white-listed that is how public links will show up. Also, as a side question, is this a shared doc with a public link or shared specifically with you, her and the others you mentioned?

      Thank you for the reply.

Your assumtion is right, everyone who can get to it are on the same network.

It seems to be a shared public link since pretty much everyone who I've sent the link to for testing can get into it.

It's also a series of documents, not just one, and even a few folders with documents inside them as well.

Dropbox is whitlisted on our system as no one else in the firm has a problem with it.

Interesting. A couple things I would double-check are
        * Does this happen on different browsers for her?
** Does she use any extensions that may be interferring with it?
        * Does the URL match the rest of the people's before and after she clicks/accesses it? Basically does it change at all?
        * Does the end of the URL end in a dl=0, dl=1, raw=0, or raw=1

See what you can get us to further help you along in this. Thanks!

Hi Country girl, thanks for posting on our forum!

Do you mind sending over a screenshot of what you see on your end?

Are you seeing a blank page when switching browsers, as well?

Let me know, and we’ll have a look together.
