Camera Upload Feature Not Uploading All Photos

Hey community,

I've been using the Camera Upload feature for awhile now, but I've just noticed something. I have 3,563 photos/videos in my camera roll on my iPhone, but I only have 3,486 pictures saved to Dropbox. I'm missing 77 photos/videos. Where are they? How can I identify/sync those other files so that those are also backed up?

If there's no way to do that, is there a way to delete the Camera Uploads folder and start from scratch? I've tried connecting my phone to my laptop via USB cord, but I get an error message and it doesn't work. Any help anyone can provide on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi RyanSharer, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Currently, there isn't a method to check which images weren't uploaded.

You'd need to manually check which images are not on your computer or Dropbox account when compared to your mobile device.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Okay, is there a way to start over and try again? What will deleting the camera uploads folder do?

Hey RyanSharer, if you want we can troubleshoot the issue you're having or help you reset your Camera Uploads and re-upload everything.

Is this something you'd like to do?

    Hi Hannah,

Yes! That sounds like it will work. What are the steps?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Great! We'll have to do this internally, so can we send you an email instead?
