Can I install the Dropbox desktop app on two separate Windows accounts?
Hello,
I have all of my dropbox files synced from the cloud to my hard-drive. It's a 2nd drive I have rather than my main drive. I use my own Windows account account.
My question is.... can my...

Yes, it would work, but you'll need to be extra cautious when/if using the selective sync feature etc. simbravo

6 months agoTo add on to what Walter said, just DON'T use Selective Sync or Online-only, at all. This configuration is just asking for trouble with potential data loss.
You've have two separate instances of Dropbox, each with their own database and configuration, accessing the same set of files. It's not meant to work like that. Data loss HAS occurred for people that have done this. Are your files really not that important to you?
