Question or Issue
Dropbox has become my favorite cloud storage. I love it. I love how easy it is to find files. But... no matter what I do, I have watched tons of videos, looked in discussion forums, etc.. I CANNOT SELECT MULTIPLE FILES. It is seriously slowing down my work. I have tried using my windows computer and my ipad, and I can't do it. If someone has any ideas, I am open. I have tried shift, command, Control... nothing works. I fell asleep one night and accidentally clicked two files, but it was a complete accident. I can use any help.

If you're working in the Dropbox folder on your Windows computer, then this is a function of Windows, not Dropbox. If you click a file, then CTRL-click a second file, bot files will be selected. You can also click a file and then SHIFT-click a second file, and all files between the two will be selected (click the first file, SHIFT-click the 10th file, all 10 files will be selected).

When you're in the Dropbox app on your phone or tablet, while browsing your files you should see a check box at the top of the screen. Tap that and you'll see check boxes appear next to each file. You can then tap the check box of each file you wish to select.

On the Dropbox website, hover your cursor over the first file you wish to select. A check box will appear. Click it to select the file, and repeat for any other file you wish to select.
