Dropbox is stuck syncing after an update, what can I do?
I have the "Dropbox Plus" subscription and I run the client on 4 computers.
Yesterday (Monday, 13-Jan-2020) I signed onto my desktop (which is always on) and has a full local sync of my dropbox...

I am a Boxifier user. Are you saying that the latest version of Dropbox and Boxifier are no longer compatible?
This is strange, because I have been able to install Dropbox v 87.* release and it still is stuck on "syncing" without number for a week now on one of my two Boxifier computers.
I am just wondering where to turn: Dropbox or Boxifier

Boxifier works with Dropbox and is still a good solution.
Windows File History, which I was unaware of until today, is independent of Dropbox. I suspect that File History will be my primary method to automatically backup folders that are outside Dropbox.
Regarding your issue, have you checked that you don't have any symlinks that are causing your syncing to be stuck? Dropbox livechat will walk you through what to do.
