Dropbox keeps on trying to upload 'dbx.external.drive' on MacOS 15.6

Hi. I've tried to clear out all of my backups from Dropbox. I was previously backing up two external drives, but I don't want to do that anymore.  So I've deleted the drives from the Backup Manager...

I've restarted everything, yes. Backups are not showing up on my Backups Page, no.

Right now it says Syncing 2 Files, previously it was only one, the aforementioned.

Can you navigate the app's preferences and see if there's any 'sync issues' reported? 

In the meantime, you could also try signing out from your account in the Dropbox desktop app and then back in again.

    Ok so I logged out, logged back in, then Dropbox somehow forgot about all the files on my computer, so it had to re-sync my entire Dropbox Folder, then upload it to offline only. 

    Good news is now it seems to be working properly.
