Yes, that is how I have screen sharing set in dropbox. I see that the prefs are set to "copy link" when the screenshot is ready.
I tested sharing/transferring files via right-click. That seems to work.

8 months agoThanks for the extra info! If you only tried sharing files via the desktop app, can you also test this on www.dropbox.com and let me know if there’s no issue there either?
This is a bit of an odd behavior indeed, so I’d like to investigate it further.

If I try to share a screenshot from http://www.dropbox.com, by selecting a file and clicking the "share" button, I get an "There was a problem completing this request." alert.
Copying a link to share works.
