Filename Convention Questions about filenames, and how they're going to sync.

In the naming conventions it states that periods (.) are not allowed in filenames. I am looking for a data sharing solution for my company but we have thousands of filenames that have dates that use ...

It will sync as-is. I know the help article says not to use periods in file names, but I have plenty of file with a period in the name (and not counting the one for the file's extension) and they sync just fine.
