2 years agoHi from me too, AGR_WDC. This is all very puzzling indeed.
Can you send me the ticket number from your convo with our support team? I’d like to have a look at it too, and double check if there’s something else we haven’t tried so far.

Hi Megan,
Thank you, yes, I saw his response, he said there is nothing he can do.
I don't understand how the files can just vanish, and dropbox has no idea. I just can't.

Since the agent working on your case is a specialized one for these specific cases, I'd personally suggest to go ahead with any questions that you might be having and ask him in the email chain AGR_WDC.
I'm suggesting that, since they have more visibility on account-specific stuff than us.
- AGR_WDC2 years agoExplorer | Level 3The agent said it’s nothing he can do. Files are gone somewhere in Dropbox limbo. I know they are there somewhere because one of my movie editing programs asked to go to its files there. Those were some of the moved files as they were large.

Had the same issue and I tought I lost data permanently... Then I noticed it's just uploading... you can check the process from the dropbox icon next to time (on mac)
