"Grant Access" on an Apple Mac.

Hi - hope someone can help me. I have been a user of dropbox for years and find it very useful. Installed and all good on my MacBook Air but when I try and open a file directly from finder on my ...

Hi Mark B, how are you today?

 

Does this happen with all of your files within your Dropbox folder, or just specific ones? 

 

If you notice this behavior on Excel files only, let me know.

Hi Megan, This seems to happen on all off-line files, although the "Grant File Acces" pop-up only seems to appears on office files (pptx, docx, xlsx) where as, for example a pdf, goes straight to a 'The file "XX" couldn't be opened' pop-up.

      Hi Megan, Yes welcome to! Have to admit though that the problem resolved itself after a reinstall and restart.. Should have tried that first! Will let you know if it returns.
