How can I keep files as always available on this device?
I have some files and folders on my PC that are mentioned to be available on this device and some others mentioned to be always available on this device and these files take too long to open using Windows Explorer.
see the attached photo some folders and files have a green check mark and some others have a white check mark I need to make them all green to be always available on this device... how to do this?!!

Hi marwan_zahran2004, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you try these steps to make your files available offline, which will turn the icon green and keep them on your machine?
Keep me updated with any progress!
- marwan_zahran200410 months agoExplorer | Level 3I have checked and all the files and folders are set to available offline and already downloaded on the pc but still some of them are green and some are white and the green ones status are (always available on this device) and the white ones status are (available on this device) without the word (always) this is written down in the status bar

What type of files are the 'available' files? Are they files or folders specifically?
- marwan_zahran200410 months agoExplorer | Level 3Nothing specific, some are just folders, some are txt files. Means some txt files are green with status 'always available...' and others are white with status 'available...' and folders as well some and some

If you click the camera icon in the forum reply box, you should be able to attach a screenshot into your reply.
- marwan_zahran200410 months agoExplorer | Level 3I clicked on the camera but it doesn't give me the option to attach an image it opens a pop up box and above is written image source with text box under it and no option to browse or attach photo from computer

Thanks for the image, this appears to be the same one as the first one you posted.
Regarding the issue, what happens if you manually mark those files as available offline, does the icon not change from white to green? Are you able to mark the entire Dropbox folder as available offline?
- marwan_zahran200410 months agoExplorer | Level 3Yes already the entire folder and inside folders are marked as available offline from the dropbox application on my desktop. And the signs don't change.. I tried uninstall and re install as well but same issue
