How can I sync the Dropbox folder that's under my Mac Favorites, and not the one under Locations?
I recently upgraded to an iMac M3 desktop & now have 2 DropBox folders. The one I want to sync with is in the Favorites list & also in my User folder; the other is in the Locations list & it seems to be the one that is syncing with DropBox online. How do I get back to 1 version of DropBox that will sync as it did before the new computer?

Hey Rellek7, thanks for posting your question to our Community.
In understand your Dropbox folder has been moved under Locations.
This is what happens with the new version of Dropbox for macOS on File Provider, which moves your Dropbox folder to ~/Library/CloudStorage.
You can read more about this change here.

I really think I need to start over. How do I uninstall DropBox & reinstall in MacOS 14.1.2?

I wouldn't advise uninstalling and reinstalling the Dropbox app, now that you're on the File Provider version, Rellek7 It might create other issues.
So, let's see how we can resolve this.
Do both Dropbox folders contain the exact same files?
What's the status of the app, when you hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar?
