How to obtain the web URL (Markdown format) of a file on a local computer using Mac Finder?
How to obtain the web URL of a file from a file located in the Dropbox folder on a local computer using Mac Finder? Ideally, the URL should be in markdown format so that it can display the file name when pasted into markdown-compatible software, and clicking on it should open the file in a web browser. If it's possible to have the option to return to the file in the local folder or open it with the corresponding software (such as MS Word or MS Excel) on the local computer when opening the file in a web browser, similar to the links in Notion where you can choose to open in the local Notion app. Thanks.

You can right-click a file in your local Dropbox folder and select Copy Dropbox Link. This will create a shared link to that file. There are no options for formatting the link, using markdown or any other format, other than changing a couple of parameters within the URL to force a download or render the file in a browser.
