'Make available offline' results in a green icon and a cloud icon for files on Mac OS 14.1.2

THe setting in the Dropbox desktop application is for new files and folders, however, the best method is to mark the folder directly. 

 

Have you specifically marked that folder to be available offline by right clicking it and choosing that option?

here we go: on the screenshots you can see that the one music folder (Musik 12122023) has a cloud with an arrow.

I do click on "make available offline", and...it happens nothing...the app shows "all is up to date".

 

This "make offline available" looks like it is not working. Bug?

 

It does though show a green dot now. But, if I want to view (hear) a file, it first downloads it). So, it is not offline available.

    KrazieJane, if you right click on one of those files that has both syncing icons next to it, which option do you see? Make available offline, or make online-only instead? 

     

    Also, can you send me the app version and syncing status of your Dropbox app?
