Not getting notifications when a new file is added
Hello,
I am not receiving push notifications in my desktop when a new file is added to any of my folders or subfolders, and I definitely need this.
I don’t know if it is related, but I have Boxifier working together with Dropbox.
In that case, try an advanced reinstall of the app.

Hello, Jay. Yes, I do.

Are the files being added via the Boxifier app, as in, syncing from other folders? If so, have you tried adding a file to the Dropbox folder directly instead of via Boxifier? Do you get notifications then?If you do, then it’s possible there might be an issue with how Boxifier is linking to the Dropbox folder in some way, and it might be worth contacting them for more info on this matter. - Diego58 years agoCollaborator | Level 8
No, the files are being added via regular Windows folders. Boxifier is being used only to be able to sync an external HD. There are no popus, no matter if I create a file via dropbox site, via Windows Explorer, or if I transfer and copy files in Explorer.

Could you check if you’ve disabled notifications from the Dropbox app in the Windows settings? - Diego58 years agoCollaborator | Level 8
Hey, Jay. This is also activated.
