Shared folder contents not populating and not syncing
I'm on a team with 4 people and all of us joined the shared folders because we're all listed on Dropbox.com. But, only one of us sees all of the contents of the shared folder. Another person can see a few folders but the other folders aren't populating and his Dropbox app says his syncing is up to date. My Dropbox app populated four of the folders but has them empty and the app is telling me that my syncing is up to date.
I checked selective syncing and I have everything checked to live on my hard drive, not just Dropbox.com, so what is the problem? I can't even view all of the contents on Dropbox.com.
What is going wrong?

If the content isn't appearing on Dropbox.com, then it hasn't been uploaded to Dropbox yet. The website will show you everything in the folder, even if it's not syncing down to your computer.
For items you can see that won't sync, make sure the file and folder names aren't using any characters that would cause issues with the sync.

Hi, nope, neither of those are the issue. No file or folder name problems. This is very frustrating. It makes no sense that each of us are seeing different things.

Hey @shaneh, are you still having this issue?
If so, is the only person that can see all the files, the one who uploaded them to the folders?
And if that's the case, is their syncing finished - can access the files on dropbox.com as well?

Correct, their app says nothing is left to sync. The rest of the team, their apps say syncing is all up to date, but we can't see the folders unless we go on the web version of Dropbox.

Thanks, @shaneh.
Would you mind checking this article with some steps to help fix syncing issues, and let me know if they help?

Hi Hannah,
I don't have a firewall or antivirus software on my laptop. I took all of that bloatware off. The team member who uploaded all of the files succeeded into uploading the files or we wouldn't be able to see them on Dropbox.com. Why is it saying it's all up to date when it's not?

Provided there's no confidential information shown, can you take a screenshot from the Dropbox website of one or two of the folders that won't sync?
