Shared folder not syncing.. HELP
Hey all... done this a million times, client shares their folders with me and they auto sync to my Windows dropbox app, so i can work locally.

Hi tim2111, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Just to confirm, is the folder visible and added to your account on the Dropbox site, but not on your Windows computer?
Does the folder name contain any incompatible characters for Windows, such as a | or : symbol?
This will help me to assist further!

3 years agoGlad to hear that it's working now! This is a restriction based on Windows itself, since it can't handle certain characters that Mac OS devices allow normally on their end.
